Turquoise and Orange

Happy Wednesday! You have probably noticed me slacking a bit in my posts, but I would rather post thought provoking quality content less often than post garbage. I hope you understand.  I am thrilled you have been enjoying my recent posts and you will see more content about life because it is what I love to write and talk about.

Today I am wearing a vibrant turquoise blazer I got at my local thrift shop for $2.00.  Such a great find and versatile too! Thrifting can be quite addictive, but I definitely think in this economy, shopping your closet and thrift stores is a great way to be financially savvy and stylish. What I love about thrift shops is that you can find so many unique pieces and many times brand new items with tags still on for unbelievable prices. Do you like thrifting? What are some of your favorite thrift stores?

a nude pump is so versatile

I usually wear this beautiful orange Dereon bag quite a bit in the summer, but I am getting into the habit of remixing spring and summer items and wearing them all year long

Blazer: Goodwill, Purse: Dereon, Pumps: F-21, Chains: first one vintage, second one is a chain I took off of an old handbag.

Have a great day!

I agree, quality over quantity is beset. I do love thrift stores but mostly buy used books there. That way I can part with them more easily. I don't usually find anything at our thrift stores which are often well picked over and prices can be quite high. Recently though I did manage to find a nice quilted black jacket by Jones New York which was one of my fav. designers. I got it for $3 which was a real bargain.

That blazer was a steal for $2. I love the thrill of the hunt at thrift stores and don't leave disappointed if I don't find anything on one trip...because when do you eventually find that something special, it'll be that much sweeter. Anyways, the bright colour fits in so well with your sunny disposition. I can't wait to see how else you wear it.

Hey L.V. you're looking just as beautiful as you always do.
That's a great color combo and one I hadn't really considered. Thanks so much!
I love thrift stores of all sorts. I go to certain ones for certain things, but overall, I like Goodwill and Salvation Army the best.
