I hear a Symphony...

Happy Monday! I hope your weekend was as good as mine was:-) I had the great pleasure of taking my son to his first concert of classical music. We experienced an amazing performance of Carmina Burana by the LA Master Chorale. It was so amazing to take my son to see a  symphony and let him enjoy a taste of classical music.

This post is picture heavy because I wanted to showcase my little renaissance man and the amazing architecture and setting of the concert hall:-)  My son Kaden is quite the ham and went into fashion model mode when I snapped some photos of him outside the concert hall. I think he looks quite dapper, but I might be a little biased:-)
As I mentioned in my last post, I will be posting a part II to the Faux Friends post I wrote a while back. Check in Wednesday evening to read it. Trust me, you need to read both posts. To prepare yourself for part II, read part I first by clicking here .

And back to the Amazing Disney Concert Hall. Wow! What a place! The look on my sons face was priceless and every time he heard something he liked he would squeeze my hand. Their was some dramatic acting and ballet to accompany the classical music and it was so awesome.

I am glad that my son and I get to share these types of experiences together. I always carry a camera everywhere I go because my parents didn't take a lot of pictures when I was a kid, so I want to make sure my son has lots of great photos and memories to cherish the rest of his life. If you have children, do you take lots of photos? And if you don't have kids, do you still like to document your life in pictures?

 The architecture is amazing. Right?
My son might be only 6, but he definitely has some swag. Hmm? I wonder who he gets it from? LOL

Classical music is something I think all children should be exposed to. What do you think?

Doesn't Kaden look handsome?
From the moment we arrived until the last melody of the orchestra, we were captivated
Hat and Scarf: Fashion District, Leather Jacket, Leather Jacket: Burlington Coat Factory, Black T-Shirt: H&M, Jeans: JC Penney
Who can resist that smile?

I wore layers of black accented with a few bursts of color and a comfortable pair of riding boots perfect for us to walk around and take in the sights surrounding the concert hall
I don't think my photos do this place any justice
I think purple is a great accent to orange

Every square foot is aesthetically pleasing (sorry for the blurry photo)

Hat: gifted, Orange Scarf: Macys, Black Cardigan: Heavenly Couture, Purse: Ebay, Boots: Macys

The LA Mass Chorale is making preparations as guests begin to arrive for concert

Such dramatic and soothing music

The interior is just as amazing as the outside of the concert hall

Simply amazing aesthetic and gorgeous natural lighting

Me and my mini me:-)

This adorable little boy is my Sonshine:-)

Children are a great recipe for happiness:-)

What a nice mother-son excursion. And I agree WHOLEHEARTEDLY that children should be exposed to classical music at any early age. My parents took a similar approach, with classical music and with musicals. The world is enriched through art and exposure to it at a young age can nurture interests as well.

He's adorable and you both look fabulous.

Did you go behind the hall? There is a lovely garden where you can sit and relax. Check it out next time you go.
