Rasberry and Orange Sherbet

Happy Monday Loves! How was your weekend? I cannot believe we are in the month of August. Where does all the time go? I organized my closet and by the time I was done I had three gigantic bags of clothes to donate.  Would you believe that even after that, I still had a ton of clothes?  

I think most women love clothes and shoes, so its no surprise that most of us accumulate a lot over time. Do you ever look back at things you used to love and then feel like your style has evolved and you don't like it anymore? I think we have all had those moments.  It seems like I am having a lot of those lately. I think it comes with getting older, but I don't think getting older means you can't dress with style and flair.

Fall is just around the corner, but I am still loving bold bright ensembles like this orange white and pink combo. What I love about these pieces is that they can easily be remixed into a fall look. The weather has been a little cool recently, so I layered my dress with this bold orange and white button down. I am looking forward to pulling out my boots and scarves and I know it won't be too long because the days are already starting to have a chilly bite in the evening and little by little the days are getting shorter.

Summer!

 Happy Tuesday! and Happy Summer! I was just thinking about how much fun this time of year is because the weather just makes you want to be outside and enjoy all of the beautiful sunshine. I see some picnics in the park and skating at the beach in the near future.

  One of the things I love about this time of year there is all of the bold color you don't see any other time of year. And don't all of those bright colors make you happy?

I love to wear my bold color throughout the year. Do you wear bright colors all year long? Or only in summer? Since I recently had a birthday I have been eating a lot of good food the past couple of weeks, I have been really enjoying all of my birthday meals and being spoiled by my friends. Aren't birthdays great? 

As much as I love food, I think I overdid it.  I usually don't eat out quite this much, but I don't turn down breakfast, lunch, brunch or dinner invitations, especially when the guest of honor is me!

Today I am wearing neutrals with a bold POP of color from my scarf. I love blazers, especially the one I have on since it goes with everything. I am a repeat offender and have probably worn this blazer a zillion times this year. When I like something, I wear it with as many things as I can. What about you?

I think sometimes the most simple outfit is the most stylish. I love the way a t-shirt looks with a great scarf. My scarf collection is pretty insane, but I started collecting scarves when I was in college and just can't resist them. Do you like scarves? I think they look great with just about anything

Nude colors are the perfect canvas for playing with color. Do you agree?

Orange and Pink

Happy Monday Loves! I hope your weekend was full of fun and rest. I know without a doubt that I need a vacation. Do you ever feel like you just need to get away from it all? I am looking forward to a little mini vacation with my little one next week. I took an unplanned blog vacation because I was feeling uninspired last week. Feeling more like myself this week. 

The weather has been all over the map. Hot one day, cold the next. I am wearing one of my favorite color combos. Orange and Pink. I love this bold color combo so much that these were even my wedding colors. Although my happily ever after did not last, these vibrant colors still put a smile on my face:-)

As much as I love these shoes. They hurt like hell. I bought these on sale at Target and although the price was right, they are just uncomfortable. Don't you hate a cute pair of shoes that hurt your feet?  I am not one of those people that walk around with my feet hurting for the sake of fashion. When I got to my destination in these shoes, the pain started and I did  not have anything else to put on. This is the type of shoe you wear if you don't have to walk anywhere.

A little vibrant color in your life and you can't help but smile:-)

I have a lot to say these days. As much as I love fashion and great food, sometimes I want to talk about what's going on in the world, what keeps me up at night, what makes me hate watching the news and the stuff thats on our minds that we want to say, but it makes us a little nervous. Yeah. I want to go to that place...

Looking for the sun...

Hi Lovelies! Happy Tuesday! It is a beautiful day! Gorgeous and sunny:-) I wanted to wear a bright color and I decided to reach into my massive collection of crosses and pair this beautiful turquoise cross with a bright bubble gum pink top.  I always love sunlight  and how it makes me feel and i am always chasing it, literally and figuratively. I am looking for the sun... in everything:-)
