Orange you glad?

I really really love this time of year. Pumpkin spice latte's, holiday shopping, Christmas and spending time with all of those people that make life a little bit more special. What's not to love?  I am looking forward to the holiday traditions I enjoy every year with my son and lots of good holiday eating. Don't you love a nice holiday sugar fix? I know I do. LOL

I have been staying busy with a number of projects and have been enjoying connecting with friends so that I have some pleasant distractions from work. One of the best distractions is unexpected packages on the doorstep and the anticipation of waiting to open them.  There are a few packages that came last week and I have to fight the urge to rip into those boxes to see what surprises came for me. One more week and I get to open them:-) I still get excited on Christmas morning just like my little one does, but I always  reinforce the true meaning of Christmas so that he always understands that Christmas is about more than receiving gifts. It is about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

This time of year a lot of us focus on dark colors, but those of you that know me, know that I love a burst of color even in the winter. I paired classic neutral colors with  bold orange pants and a touch of animal print.

Do you wear bright colors in the winter?

I am all about comfort when it comes to shoes and love a stylish shoe that won't make my feet hurt. These are pretty comfortable

Blazer: Bergdorf Goodman (old) White T- Shirt: H&M, Orange Pants: H&M, Bag: Badgley Mischka, Shoes: Sole Society, Photography: Stacy Gutierrez

I hope  your week is off to a great start

Have an amazing day!

Oranges and Red are must haves in the winter, much better than the winter blues and blacks. Happy Holidays my dear! #PersonalStyleLinkup

My resolution this year was to add more color to my wardrobe. I've done pretty good...I think. Normally I wear neutrals all year round. I'm a sucker for white tops...tons of them. But yes, I would wear color. Just like you, I adore orange. You look radiant and very pretty.

Unexpected packages are the best, aren't they? Such a wonderful surprise. On that note, these pants are magnificent. Orange really suits you. Now I'll have to see how orange trousers look on me! I'm a little scared. :] // ▲ itsCarmen.com ▲

Hi, LV. What a cute outfit! I've bought orange pants twice and ended up donating them because I didn't know how to style them properly. I just wasn't doing it right. You've done it perfectly!...and now it makes me want to go buy orange pants again. haha

Fabulous shoes! I love how they look with your orange skinnies... it's one of those looks that I've admired, but cannot pull off myself. Very cool!

Like you, I'm a huge fan of color throughout the year. Especially on wintery days her in S. Florida makes the day better. The lesson you're teaching your son is so valuable. I stopped overspending a long time and make sure to love on KT, family and friends all year.

It took me a while to figure out what was different about you - I love the curly hair. I love to wear brights in the winter too - they just brighten up my day. Looking fab as always!

I find the idea of bright orange pants frankly terrifying but you turn them into something smashing. Looks great LV!
