Black Diamond

Happy Thursday! Fall is in the air. It is still just a bit warm, but definitely a little crisp breeze in the air letting me know that the season for baking cookies and other winter treats is here:-)

I was just thinking about how amazing women are and how much it saddens me when women feel the need to compete with each other, or when women allow jealousy or envy of another woman  get in the way of what could be a great friendship, whether it is friends or family. Every woman is beautiful and every woman has something special that makes her uniquely her.

Every woman is a diamond with her own color, cut and clarity.

Sometimes the clarity at which you sparkle draws others to you and it makes others hate you and they really don't know why.  The sparkle you have can not be duplicated because it is yours. What they don't understand is that the sparkle is inside of you and radiates to the outside. When you are full of light you can't help but sparkle. It's your birth right. You don't have to say a word. You just walk into a room and there is light. When you cross paths with someone with that same inner light, your kinetic energy will draw you to each other like magnets.

And then for some your light will shine too bright and they will flee. Ever notice how little critters scatter when the lights come on. Don't fret. Just stand there and sparkle. Embrace it.

Shine
The brightest sparkle and light we can have comes from our creator. When we reflect God in all we say and do, we shine the brightest:-)

I like the zippers on your shoes. They make me think kinky sex thoughts.
I do not like your purse. It looks like a bowling bag.

ha ha!!!! You are right, my purse does look a lot like a bowling bag or a doctors bag, but that is the very reason why I like it:-) It is different and I love different!

Hear hear, LV. I completely agree...we are all beautiful, and should all encourage each other to shine bright. There's enough hate in the world. Why add to the negativity?

PS
Love the shoes:D

I absolutely agree! I can't stand when we work against each other instead of with each other--and that's true in so many situations. I love your all black look today LV! This dress looks great on you!

Gorgeous black dress and the accessories! I know what you mean about women, since when did it become not okay for us to be you and me separately and always thinking about what the other lady is doing. Its terrible. <3

Fabulous sparkly accessories against the black.

I think that women and men for that matter are naturally competitive. That is why they often feel threatened by others.

You are right that we are each unique and should embrace that rather than try to compete with each other.

I like how you relate women to diamonds. Reality shows would make you think that all women hate each other. I once wrote a song years ago called black diamond so I really like the title of your post. Great accessories here!
