It's Beginning to feel like Fall

Happy Monday! It is actually pretty cold today and now there is no doubt that fall is here. Last week, I didn't post much because I was reflecting. I often think about the posts I write that tug at your hearts. The ones that you privately email me about, or the ones that are so personal that I had to share them with you because I thought they might help some of you. 

When my blog was still very new and didn't have a lot of readers yet, I wrote a post about fake friends. I called it: "Faux Friends" and from all the private emails I got about the post  on your personal experiences with what I call frenemies, faux friends, fake friends and the like, I felt that this was a topic worth addressing again. 

Since this topic comes up so much when I talk to my close friends and I often see people venting on Facebook about their friends. I will be posting "Faux Friends Part II" very soon. Since the first one struck a chord with so many and it is something that women often deal with, I want to talk about it some more.  Take a look at "Faux Friends" part I by clicking here. Since it is now cold enough to wear some real winter attire, I am wearing a shift dress, paired with a long duster jacket and boots. Perfect for this time of year.

I really love boots and I have all kinds, but these I find kind of sexy.  Most of the time, I tend to lean towards a flat riding boot, but there is something about a sleek boot with a high heel that I love. What kinds of boots do you like to wear?
