Winter Snapshots

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! I ate way too much turkey, dressing, pie and everything else, but sometimes it is ok to eat a little too much of the things you enjoy. as long as you don't do it every day. Right? Now I am preparing for Christmas and usually this is the time of year when I don't post on my blog as much because I am usually busy doing lots of holiday stuff with my little guy:-)

I really love this time of year and always look forward to it. It rarely gets cold enough in my neck of the woods to wear coats, but I thought it might be fun to share some snapshots from some of  my previous winter looks. I love boots and of course this is the perfect time of year to wear them. What are your favorite things to wear in the winter?

My favorite part of this look is the shoes I was wearing. I love a classic pump and they will never go out of style. I love things that are timeless

I love tunics with leggings and boots. Do you?

I love capes and wraps and this is the only time of year you can get away with wearing them unless you live in a colder climate.

This is the perfect time of year to wear those over the knee boots

I love black, but I don't like looking like I am in a funeral procession, so I always balance it with a bold pop of color from my accessoriesI am known for wearing bold bright colors and when I looked at these photos, I noticed that recently I have worn a lot more black than I usually do.

I cannot believe this year is almost over!

Belated happy Thanksgiving, LV:D And I love your collection of outfits in this post. My fave winter outfit is really basic: jeans, leather jacket and booties.

You're really teasing me with those good looking handbags. Accessories are my favorite thing to buy. I would look so awesome with the clutch. :)

Agree with you about the shoes in the second post - I love them!

Your comment about the cape made me giggle. The other day I decided to wear a turtleneck cape over a slim dress to work (for style and for warmth) but I couldn't figure out how to jam all the material into my coat sleeves for the walk to work. So I wore my cape over my coat for the commute. What a pretty picture that was!!
