Green & Yellow

Happy Tuesday! Hope your week is starting off on a great note. The weather has been a mixed bag of summer heat and rainy days. One day 90, the next day cold and rainy. Today is a nice balmy spring day. The perfect weather for a soft flowy dress. I pulled out this green dress and did not quite realize how short it was until I put it on, so this will be my last time wearing this dress as a dress. I think on me, it might work better as a tunic. I am tall and leggy and what fits an average height woman like a dress, often fits me like a top. I really hate when that happens because when I buy a dress, I want to wear it as a dress, but when you are tall sometimes you can't. I really should not have worn this, but I wanted to wear this as a dress at least once.

I love this rich jewel toned dress with the contrast of these bold yellow pumps, but I am retiring this as a dress.

Never again will I wear this as a dress. I don't know what I was thinking. Have you ever worn something and then cringed later when you saw it?

I love these earrings

Oh well, we all make mistakes. Sometimes you have to just grin and bear it:-) Have a great day!

Oh! I think this is really cute on you as a dress! It is shorter, but in a good way, I think at least. I love the color on you too! And yellow and green is one of my new found favorite color combos--like in my most recent post LOL

I have had those moments also, and I think, "I shouldn't have". Anyway, you wear it well!

Oh, I can so relate to your issue with dresses being too short. I've had to pass on so many because I'm fairly tall too. That said, I still love the dress on you, and the color is my favorite shade of green! :)

This look really sizzles. Love the green with the bold pop of yellow. I actually think this dress looks cute on you and even though it is short, you pull it off beautifully and still look elegant. I seriously think you look good in anything.

How tall are you LV? I know what you mean about dresses tending to veer too short. On the other hand, less pant hemming!

I do think you have the legs to pull this off but the occasion would have to be right. As I approach 30 I'm doing the same in getting rid of clothes that just feel too young or inappropriate for my age.
