Gray and White

Happy Monday! I hope you had a amazing weekend.  I had a couple of negative situations last week and even one that popped up last night. Excuse me while I vent for a minute...I have learned that there are some people in this world that take delight in bringing misery to other people. Ever heard that old phrase "misery loves company." I think it  takes an awful lot of energy to be negative, yet so many people do it. And others speak negative about people they don't even know. That's another one that leaves me scratching my head. People listen to second hand information, but you really have to know a person for yourself before you start forming opinions. It can be disturbing when people say things about you that aren't true, but at the end of the day there is nothing you can do about it. I take comfort in knowing that the truth always has a way of revealing itself. I try not to waste my time with people who speak or bring negative energy.  That kind of force is diametrically opposed to who I am and who I serve.

Sometimes you can't even have a conversation with a person intent to be negative. When you try to debate with someone intent to spew venom your way, it is draining.  Sometimes the best thing to do is walk away. And since today is a new day, I am refreshed and ready for a great week! How about you? Today I am wearing a very light weight trench coat and some neutral colors.  It is very warm today, so this trench is about to come off:-)

I feel spring in the air. I am thrilled that our days are about to get longer:-)

My DIY clutch has been making a lot of appearances lately:-)  And it is reversible. Not bad huh?

Keep your head up m'dear and keep with the positive energy! I am a firm believer in "you get what you put out", even if you have to put up with a few bad apples along the way. I know you can do it because your blog is so positive and I really enjoy that. Here here! to longer days and the return of spring!

I know exactly what you mean. Those negative people have one purpose... and that's to make other people feel just as bad as they do. I'm glad you refuse to fall victim to the craziness.

I am loving those shoes & that clutch!!

Positivity is powerful, and you have the right attitude. I think most people can relate to your thoughts, so stay positive! That good energy will come back to you. Great job on the clutch, and your heels are sensational!

LV - Some people are so unhappy with their lives that do find pleasure in make you miserable. One of the beautiful things about life is that we have choices. Your choice is to embrace or reject the negativity.

People love to form opinions about others because it gives they're shallow lives something to talk about and it takes the focus off of them.

This should be a lesson when we read the tabloids...many of the stories we read are not true. Look at what they said about Whitney Houston after she left the club. A reliable source said she was not drunk or disheveled. What in the hell would you look like after partying all nigh.

You my dear don't you worry about a thing. You must be doing something right for them to keep talking about you.

Keep up the good work.

There definitely are people that get so happy bringing other people down. If they are miserable, they want you to be too. Misery loves company! I love that plaid shirt especially in the gray hues
