Coral + Stripes

Happy Thursday loves! I almost did not post anything today because lately I have felt uninspired. Down.  Low to the ground. What helps keep me grounded is simply walking out the door and seeing with my own eyes that someone always has it worse, or better.  I hope your holiday season is off to a great start and if anyone is having one of those moments like I am, I am sending a hug through the computer screen:-)

Here are a few pictures. I hope you enjoy them!

I like these lace up boots because they remind me of some of the vintage boots I see in some of the fun thrift shops on Melrose. They look like something from another era, yet a bit modern. And they are super comfortable, which is always a plus in my book

Scarf: Macys, Shrug: H&M, Skirt: H&M, Top: New York and Company, Necklace: F-21, Boots: Dereon Clutch: DIY

I hope you have the best day ever! Sending lots of holiday cheer your way:-)

I have to be honest and say I think this outfit would look much better without the red vest as I think you rock in those stripes and the white top. I absolutely love that necklace on you too!

I just read your post more carefully and I'm sorry to leave a blunt post when you feel down.

I say a little prayer for you now as I know you are a believer.

Father God, I pray for Miss LV. Lord you see her situation at this time and only you know what is in the depths of her heart. I pray that you would reach down and pull her close to you. Hold her in the palm of your Hand and whisper love things in her ears and to her heart. Put joy and gladness in her life and in her heart. I pray at this special season of the year that she will have the special feeling of being touched by you, and in turn that love would radiate to everyone she comes into contact with. In Jesus' name, I ask these things and I believe you would answer on behalf of your children. Amen and amen."

Hunni I've been blogging for a long time and I swear around this time I always feel uninspired as well. Heck, I haven't even finished my Christmas shopping and I'm struggling to get it done. SMH. Anyhew, give me that clutch and those booties woman, lol.

I agree, it is good to take fashion risks sometimes and get out of our ruts :-) In LA and NY, the vibe is very different from where I live. Have a wonderful holiday!

L - No matter how uninspired you feel you must always, always post something. There are people like myself who look forward to your inspiring words and your great outfits.

It's our job to help uplift you when you're feeling down. We all feel that way sometimes, that's what makes you human.

Usually, during the Holiday's people do feel sad, and overwhelmed because they're alone, the pressure of buying a gift, missing loved ones who are not longer here, and a host of other feelings.

Sometimes you don't need to think abut others who have it worse than you. Maybe you can Thank God for your health, mental and physical, a roof over your head, great friends, family and your beautiful son.

That's what should help uplift you on uninspired days.

With much love and admiration.
Stone
