Olvera Street!

Olvera Street is truly a hotbed of culture, great artifacts and amazing food! In my free time, I have so much fun soaking up local color and immersing myself in different cultures. Olvera street is colorful, has great music, and lots of amazing finds including some great fashion items. I thought this bold colorful dress was perfect for a leisurely day on Olvera Street.  You get to be a fly on the wall as I take in the sights, sounds and tastes of Olvera Street!
In the span of a few blocks I heard a variety of music including: Tejano, Mariachi and Latin Jazz
I love these colorful maracas!
The guitar vendor at Olvera Street has guitars in every imaginable color. I must admit I was tempted. I actually do play a little guitar, but I have never taken a lesson. I play by ear, just like my dad.
Nothing takes the place of a great experience. In life, the things I remember the most are fun experiences like this one!

Dress: Los Angeles Fashion District, Flip Flops: Steinmart, Jewelry: F-21 and Los Angeles Fashion District

I had to have a hot fresh churro! If you haven't had one, you are truly missing out!

Mango Lemonade hits the spot on a hot day!

Authentic Mexican food is one of the great things about Olvera Street

Live out loud! Live in technicolor!!!

And now its time for you to go and have an amazing experience! Have fun! Tell me all about it:-)

I am sure that this dress garnered you a TON of attention. It's gorgeous. You look like you belong at a carnival -- not in a bad way, even though I know that sounds really mean. You just look so colorful and happy and bright and cheerful and amazing that there is absolutely nothing but goodness and fun -- like a carnival. That is what I meant.
I hope you got that, or you probably hate me now.
