Happy Monday loves! I know I sound like a broken record every time I apologize for my lack of posting due to my schedule, but life has been hectic, but in a good way. I had a great weekend. How was yours? In just a couple of weeks I get to celebrate my birthday. YAY!With the hot weather lately, I have been wearing more summer looks. Today I am wearing goldenrod and black. This color combination reminds me of a bumblebee:-)

There is something very sassy about peplums that I like. Although the peplum has become a trend, a peplum is still a very classic look and never really goes out of style

I always remember my dad called me a bumblebee at my 10th birthday party (because of my outfit) and I cried. Now, I'd take it as a compliment since black and yellow is one of my favorite color combos. I LOVE your shoes!!

Unless there was some grey thrown in, I've steered clear of this colour combination my whole life (along with red-and-yellow. Too many thoughts of circus tents). However, your snappy outfit is making me think I should reconsider my stance.
