Happy Friday beautiful ones! I wanted to share some of my favorite summer moments with you and some of the things I love the most about this time of year. This time of year if the time I love to be outdoors. You will often find me and my son dining Al Fresco at one of my favorite bistros or having picnics in the park. Music festivals, food events, art gallery openings, fashion events, farmers markets, chasing food trucks, thrifting in the city and devouring Gelato all make me smile and are a big part of my summer. During the winter months when it is cold, I tend to hibernate a little more. What do you love about summer? What are your favorite things to do?
Summer is a great excuse to wear bold colors, although I don't need an excuse LOL
Eat Ice Cream!
Wear Gorgeous Shades of Neon
Wear flirty dresses and sexy sandals
Drink icy cold orange crush!

You hit the nail on the head for all of the great things about summer. The only thing I have to add is that I love running through the sprinkler with my son. Relaxing at/in a pool or getting wet on a hot day is so much fun.

ReplyDeleteI just love being outdoors any chance I can. I enjoy picnics the most. There are so many simple things we can do during the summer that won't break the bank.

Cute pictures! You are definitely right, I do not need a reason to wear bold colors in winter months either. In DC it always feels like a walking funeral during the colder months. I love to wear something bold to throw people off :)
ReplyDeleteI like the closeup of your stacked bracelets, with your gorgeous smile in the background. Summer is the best time to be outdoors and I'm glad you're seizing the day! A bit part of my summer revolves around sports (so I'm not usually looking blog-worthy haha) - beach volleyball, running, rollerblading, biking...I love it!! Now that the Olympics have started I'm torn between watching to watch incredible feats of athleticism and cheer on my country, and be outdoors enjoying our short summer season.

Another great post from you. I just love these snapshots! Another thing I like about summer is going for walks at night...when the sun goes down in the summer it is still pretty warm with a fresh breeze. Oh and vacations and family reunions...lol.
