Terrenea Resort

There are some places that make me feel closer to God when I am there. The ocean is one of those places.  The ocean is calming and a great place to relax and recharge your batteries.  Although I love a good adventure, sometimes I enjoy doing absolutely NOTHING, especially in a beautiful and amazing location like the Terrenea Resort in the Palos Verdes Estates.

Thanks to a a very amazing person, I was treated to one of the best birthday presents ever! a couple of days of bliss in an ocean view bungalow and an amazing brunch at this awe inspiring resort.  It is not very often that I get a lot of time to be selfish and indulgent. I am always focusing on being supermom, but sometimes supermom gets super tired.  During this completely relaxing and indulgent getaway,I was able to spend some time alone writing, soaking up sun, eating amazing food and enjoying one of my favorite place on earth, the beach!

The weekend ended on a great note when one of my sister friends drove up to join me for brunch on my last day. The brunch was so lovely that I have to write about it in separate post to do it justice. So be on the look out for a great review and lots of drool worthy food photos. This place is just so beautiful and serene, I had to share some photos with you. I hope you enjoy them. And I am forewarning you that there are a lot of pictures:-)

Entertainment was a great set by an acoustic guitarist. Soft and relaxing. So perfect for this lush atmosphere.

Peach Bellini. If you haven't had one, you must try them. They are refreshing and tasty.

 

When I see this kind of beauty, it makes me 

appreciate GOD even more

 It is a blessing to be able to enjoy and experience 

this type of beauty

I spent most of my time on my private  patio looking at the ocean, but this was my favorite easy chair to relax in while indoors

What an amazing way to celebrate and how amazing to be celebrated. I have some great people around me. This is an example of God giving you exceedingly and abundantly more than you could eve ask or think
